First view of Everest. (tiny triangle in the background) From the Everest View Hotel.
Cake is taken very seriously at this hotel...
This lady was knitting hats. Got one.
Morning at 13,800 feet. Trouble breathing, trouble eating, trouble... well I'll leave it at that.
Chris, This picture makes you look like a giant, much bigger than the guest house. Is the food you are eating or the t-angle? Love all the updates. Love, Mom/Grama
ReplyDelete"Venila"? I love venila cake! Good luck with the "trouble". It looks like you're having an awesome experience!
ReplyDeleteAndrew (nephew) says, "Hi, I miss you. I hope you come back soon. Don't fall off a cliff." [disclaimer] actual quote.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well. There has been a fairly steady stream of co-workers stopping by and expressing well wishes. Almost all are immediately followed by expressions of extreme jealousy. The greatest outward show of envy by far, was Carol. Keep warm and well oxygenated!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a great time:-) Hope your trouble is resolved!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this time. Drink it all in because it will last you a life time. You are our hero of the month.
ReplyDeleteYou can come home now. I've about cleaned every single square inch of the house...I miss you! Can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI met your mom in MI this summer at Training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. She passed this link to your blog on so my kiddos here in Alaska can see your adventure! Awesome and remember that Amara, 7, Joey, 9 and Rosie, 12 are rooting for you and fascinated with your trip!
